Registered Nurse - Acute Rehabilitation

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:30 - 17:00). Schedule may vary between Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in acute rehabilitation or a willingness to float to the acute rehab unit with appropriate orientation. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adults and geriatric patients in a dynamic acute care environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to patients in the acute rehabilitation unit.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Document patient care in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of employment, with a preference for candidates with Epic charting experience.
• Must be able to float between similar units as needed.
