Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 12-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekend rotations.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team within a fast-paced acute care environment. The position will be focused on providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment for adult patients with various diagnoses including total joints, trauma, general medicine, surgical needs, and neurology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for acute care adult patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer therapy interventions in a timely manner.
• Document and maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous experience in an acute care environment, ideally with med-surg, orthopedic, trauma, and neurology patients.
