Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Medical Rehabilitation Unit within a busy Trauma hospital. The unit primarily treats stroke patients and provides targeted rehabilitation services. Therapists will work with a maximum of 5 patients per shift, typically focusing on 3 to 4 patients daily for 90-minute sessions each.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic modalities and interventions to promote recovery.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Possess a valid Physical Therapist license for West Virginia (pending license accepted prior to start).
