Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts available, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00). Candidates may work approximately 2-3 weekend day shifts per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in an adult inpatient rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in various neurological and orthopedic conditions, providing therapy to patients with diverse needs including CVA rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, and amputees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to assist patients with daily living activities.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Utilize specialized skills including biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and edema massage.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Active BLS, NBCOT, and New Mexico State License required (pending NM license acceptable).
• Experience with charting in the Epic system is necessary.
