Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM, with call every 3rd weekend and 1-2 nights per week.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience. The ideal candidate will be skilled in various cardiovascular procedures and will provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, with expertise in CABG, TAVR, and other chest procedures.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients during surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and maintain effective communication.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist with procedures related to ECMO, Impella insertions, and thoracotomies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Must possess a valid Kentucky nursing license or compact license.
• Proficient with EPIC charting system.
