CT Technologist - Outpatient

Night shift, 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00), Friday to Sunday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on outpatient care. This role requires expertise in operating GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging machines and familiarity with the EPIC charting system. Adherence to safety standards and guidelines established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform various imaging procedures to produce diagnostic quality images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging processes.
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduated from an accredited imaging technology program.
• Licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography and CT.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography and CT.
• Previous outpatient imaging experience required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
