Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Acute Care

Day shift, Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with acute care experience. The candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing therapy interventions, and participating in multidisciplinary care for patients with a focus on swallowing disorders, including those requiring Modified Barium Swallow studies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Prepare and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow studies to assess swallowing function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on assessment results and treatment options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certificate (CCC-SLP) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Profile (MBSImP) certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
