Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by physicians, ensuring the highest quality imaging standards while maintaining patient safety and comfort. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in utilizing CT equipment and applying necessary safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Performing CT scans on patients based on physician orders.
• Preparing patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions.
• Administering contrast media when necessary and preparing equipment for safe imaging.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and images in the Epic charting system.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards for radiation safety.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical CT technician role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Epic charting system.
• Strong skills in various imaging techniques, including multiplanar reconstruction and 3D rendering.
