CT Technologist - Travel Position

Schedule

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (12:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

Job Description

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of CT imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality results while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires travel experience and proficiency in the Epic charting system. The candidate must possess and demonstrate effective communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders
• Administer contrast media as necessary
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
• Follow safety protocols for radiation and infection control
• Document procedures accurately in the Epic charting system
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and provide comfort

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in CT
• BLS certification
• Oregon State OBMI required prior to start
• Minimum one year of hospital experience in acute care settings
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory
• Travel experience required
