CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day 4x10-Hour shift: 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Required to work weekends: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will play a vital role in performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures and working in an acute care hospital setting. The candidate must have recent hospital experience and be proficient with Epic charting.

Responsibilities

• Conducting various CT procedures including abdomen, chest, and advanced imaging techniques.
• Preparing patients for imaging and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
• Administering contrast media when necessary and following radiation safety protocols.
• Collaborating effectively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT Certification in CT and BLS.
• Oregon State OBMI certification required prior to start.
• Minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting; Level III trauma experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
