Acute Care Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 16:00). Weekend availability required.

Job Description

The Acute Care Physical Therapist will provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients within acute care settings. The role necessitates a focus on patient evaluations, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance recovery and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices in providing care.
• Assist patients in achieving mobility goals and improving functional abilities.
• Document patient progress using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
• Active Physical Therapist license required.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is essential.
• Charge experience preferred, but not mandatory.
