Electrophysiology Radiology Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Radiology Technician with experience in electrophysiology procedures. This position is designed for first-time travelers and will involve working in a short-term acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrophysiology procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.
• Conduct arrhythmia inductions, baseline measurements, and cardiac ablations.
• Carry out conduction studies and electrophysiology evaluations.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and ensure accurate documentation in the Epic charting system.
• Manage equipment maintenance and inventory control.
• Assist in pacemaker insertions and perform EKG lead placements.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary support teams.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technician with Electrophysiology (EP) expertise.
• Must hold an active ARRT Radiology Tech Certification and a valid OBMI License.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and relevant experience in the EP lab are required.
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is essential.

Schedule

This position operates on a day shift, 4x10-hour schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements.
