Shift: Friday to Monday, 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM

• On-call required: Yes, 3 shifts per month
• Weekend coverage is not required
• Block schedule required

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform imaging procedures in a short-term acute care setting, ensuring high-quality patient care while utilizing appropriate safety measures and adhering to protocols. This role requires proficiency in a variety of imaging techniques, including but not limited to abdominal, extremity, and spinal imaging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging procedures as per physician orders
• Assist in the preparation and administration of contrast media
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Follow protocols for infection prevention and isolation precautions
• Document all imaging results accurately in the electronic medical records (Epic)

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT certification and current BLS certification required
• State licensure for Oregon
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
