CT Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist participates in various assigned tasks related to imaging technology and performs diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and ensure quality control.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging studies.
• Utilize GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging equipment effectively.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate from an imaging technology program approved by licensing bodies.
• Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging in radiography.
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography.
• Certification in CT by the OBMI or registered in CT by the ARRT is required.
• BLS certification from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient experience and IV skills.
• Epic charting experience is a hard requirement.
