Interventional Cardiac Tech (RCIS/ARRT) - 13-Week Contract

This position involves a Day 5x8-Hour shift, from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM. On-call requirements include 7-10 days per month, which comprises at least one weekend.

Job Description

The Interventional Cardiac Tech will assist in performing a variety of procedures including interventional cardiac cases, pacemaker insertions, and temporary pacemakers. The role requires the ability to scrub for cases, and experience with vascular procedures is preferred. Candidates must be comfortable working both in inpatient and outpatient settings and possess strong equipment documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with central line insertion and management.
• Scrub and circulate during procedures including TAVR, VAD insertion, and various types of valve replacements.
• Perform rotablator atherectomy and manage abdominal aortic aneurysm repairs among other procedures.
• Maintain aseptic technique and airway management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are also required.
• Permanent license in hand is required for submission; temp licenses are not accepted.
