CT/X-Ray Tech - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00. Required to work weekends with overnight shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

The CT/X-Ray Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing critical support in diagnostic imaging settings. The role requires a thorough understanding of both CT and X-ray technologies, with a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray procedures as per established protocols.
• Ensure the proper preparation and administration of contrast media.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
• Document procedures accurately in Epic and maintain patient records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and information.
• Coperate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT/X-Ray Tech.
• ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (ARRT CT, ARRT R).
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
• Ability to perform advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
