This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. No weekends required.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing various mammographic procedures including diagnostic and screening mammograms as well as stereotactic biopsies. The successful candidate will utilize advanced imaging techniques to provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3-D mammography and digital mammography procedures
• Conduct fine needle aspirations and wire localizations
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic charting system
• Assist in special procedures and patient education regarding mammography

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• ARRT certification in Mammography (ARRT M), Radiography (ARRT R)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with the Epic charting system is required
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
