Job Description

The Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their home environment. This role involves working with various patient populations, assisting with therapy interventions, and ensuring compliance with treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assist in the development of care plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor patient progress.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home exercises.
• Document patient care and ensure compliance with all confidentiality regulations.
• Manage caseload effectively, aiming to minimize drive and windshield time.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1 year of skilled home health experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Ability to operate remote charting systems, specifically EPIC and Rover.
• Primary series COVID vaccination and one booster required.
• Reliable transportation is a must as traveling to multiple client locations is necessary.
