Radiology Technologist (X-ray Tech)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30); Night Shift: 4x10-Hour (19:00 - 05:30). Weekends required based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (X-ray Tech) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in hospital and operating room settings, with experience in utilizing O-arm and fluoroscopy technology. The role requires expertise in performing a variety of imaging procedures, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures, including but not limited to X-rays, fluoroscopy, and surgical support.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Administer contrast media as required and monitor patient reactions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Contribute to departmental efficiency through quality assurance initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital environment.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• O-arm and fluoroscopy experience preferred.
