Occupational Therapist

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for an Occupational Therapist working primarily with pediatric patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The role may also involve providing care to adult inpatients as needed. The clinic is conveniently located next to the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for a range of diagnoses in both adult and pediatric populations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans of care as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Schedule

This position requires a Day 4x10-Hour schedule from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license required at the time of submission.
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with an electronic health record system, preferably Epic.
