Acute Care Float Pool Registered Nurse

This position is scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Acute Care Float Pool Registered Nurse provides nursing care to a diverse population of patients across multiple medical-surgical units. The RN must be willing to float to various departments including Orthopedics, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and others, as well as to the WestLakes Campus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in compliance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and perform regular assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care transition.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Must have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Must be willing to float between various medical-surgical specialty areas.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
