Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will work in the Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology unit, assisting in a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The ideal candidate is flexible, amicable, and able to work well under pressure, providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures such as TIPS, EVAR, AAA repair, PICC placement, Vertebroplasty, and vascular-peripheral interventions.
• Utilize GE and Phillips fluoroscopy equipment efficiently.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech and Mac Lab EMR systems.
• Participate in call rotations and ensure availability within a 30-minute radius during off-hours and weekends.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Critical care experience is mandatory.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Must possess necessary state licensure related to the technologist's specialty.
