Job Description

We are seeking a proficient Cardiac Surgical Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will possess the skills necessary to scrub for various cardiac procedures, including but not limited to CABG, valve replacements, and thoracic surgeries. This role requires a commitment to patient care and a versatility in handling complex surgical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiac cases requiring bypass and related procedures in the mediastinum.
• Assist in thoracic surgery cases, including daVinci-assisted procedures and open thoracotomy.
• Handle procedures initiating ECMO and performing pericardial windows.
• Effectively participate in weekend and on-call rotations as assigned.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Current NH license or compact state license required at submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience with a variety of cardiac procedures, including TAVRs and thoracic surgery.
