Infusion Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule

4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Hours may differ based on unit needs. No nights, floating, or on-call shifts. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive care for patients with oncology diagnoses. This role includes a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, symptom assessment, and management of infusion reactions.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies.
• Manage central line care, including accessing and de-accessing implanted ports.
• Conduct patient education on treatment plans and side effects.
• Document care and treatment using Epic EMR systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and manage patients for infusion reactions and treatment-related side effects.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology.
• ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification.
• BLS certification.
• Epic experience required; Beacon experience preferred.
