Registered Nurse (RN) - Days / Varied Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides age-specific, direct patient care while utilizing the Nursing Process and adhering to the Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards. As an RN, you will assume leadership responsibilities, which include the delegation of work to other staff members. Compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of healthcare is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards.
• Assume leadership responsibilities and delegate tasks appropriately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC, NRP certifications required; a plan for renewal must be in place if not active prior to start date.
• De-escalation training required.

Schedule

This position operates on a days/varied shift schedule, requiring flexibility.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
