Schedule

Shift is 4x10 days from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with Wednesdays from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Additional on-call obligations are required, typically including one weekend per month and one day per week.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician is responsible for scrubbing and monitoring various cardiac procedures including PCIs and the use of support devices such as IABP and Impella. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment involving multidisciplinary teamwork to provide optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and monitor cath procedures, including Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCIs).
• Utilize cardiac support devices such as IABP and Impella during procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance of sterile fields during procedures.
• Perform accurate monitoring of patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
• Assist in coronary angiograms and complex interventions including the placement of Swan Ganz catheters.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
• Current Washington State Radiology License is required.
• National Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either RCIS or ARRT are required.
• Experience with a charting system, specifically Epic, is necessary.
