Schedule

Shifts available: 7am-7:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 9pm-5:30am.

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Assessment Specialists to join our team. The Assessment Specialist will work directly with adults in a behavioral health setting, performing assessments and facilitating care for individuals with psychiatric and chemical dependency issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments for patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients in distress.
• Document all assessments and interventions in accordance with facility policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) preferred
• Handle With Care (HWC) certification can be completed on-site
• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility preferred, especially with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis patients
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling required
