Registered Nurse - Rehabilitation (Days, 13 Weeks)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8 hours (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM) with every third weekend requirement and holidays as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Rehabilitation team. The primary focus will be on providing care for patients with traumatic brain injuries and stroke rehabilitation. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and executing treatment interventions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding rehabilitation processes.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in rehabilitation or acute care settings.
• Valid RN license in Maryland or Compact License required at the time of submission.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CVA rehabilitation experience required.
• Preferred experience with Epic charting system.
