Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) with NICU Experience

Day and Night rotating shifts: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) with NICU experience to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and be able to manage a diverse range of patient conditions. This position requires flexibility to rotate between day and night shifts and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our young patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report to the healthcare team.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, specifically in NICU or similar environments.
• Current and active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• BLS certification required.
• CPI certification preferred.
• Experience with various pediatric conditions including prematurity, cardiac defects, and respiratory management.
