Registered Nurse - ED/Medsurg

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift, working from 6 PM to 6 AM with rotation for weekends every third week. There are no on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to float between the Emergency Department (ED) and Medical-Surgical (Medsurg) units. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting both critically ill and general care patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in both the ED and Medsurg settings.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system (Cerner).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS.
• TNCC certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to float between Medsurg and ED as needed.
