Outpatient Physical Therapist - Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist - Certified Lymphedema Therapist is responsible for evaluating assigned patients, developing, implementing, and modifying treatment plans according to patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role involves guiding and directing all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients to facilitate their return to community activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Document medical records accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Provide guidance for effective treatment programs aimed at patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients, families, students, and coworkers about therapy processes and techniques.
• Participate in a student mentorship program, offering oversight and evaluation.
• Actively pursue professional growth through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to state practice acts and maintain licensure in good standing.
• Understand and contribute to the organization’s performance improvement methodology.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active and applicable state license to practice physical therapy.
• Previous experience with the company is a plus.

Schedule

This is a 6-month contract position with an 8-hour shift schedule, starting August.
