Speech Language Pathologist - Contract Position

Job Description

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs and physician direction. The role requires adherence to organizational values, compliance with the Code of Conduct, and a commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop treatment plans and set goals.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge.
• Flexibly manage individual and group treatment sessions based on patient needs.
• Complete accurate and timely medical record documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Participate in student training and professional development initiatives.
• Engage in patient and professional advocacy efforts.
• Adhere to discipline-specific licensing and continuing education requirements.
• Contribute to organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA.
• BLS Certification.
• One or more years of clinical experience.
• FEES Certification is preferred.
