Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This position requires a 12-hour day shift. Flexibility to work other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed is essential.

Job Description

A Registered Nurse is needed to provide care in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn areas. The facility averages 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections per month. The nurse may be required to serve as a charge nurse on occasion after completing charge nurse training.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Postpartum rooms
• Assist with newborn care in the nursery room
• Perform charge nurse duties as required

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of recent nursing experience in Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
• American Heart Association ACLS or ALSO, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced FHM certifications required
• RNC-EFM may be substituted for AWHONN FHM certification

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
