This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 18:00). 4x10 block scheduling may be available for the right candidate, but Saturdays are required.

Job Description

The Radiologic Technologist will perform various imaging procedures, including but not limited to 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsies. The technologist will ensure the quality and safety of imaging equipment and procedures, while also adhering to radiation safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct imaging procedures with high levels of accuracy and patient safety.
• Utilize advanced radiologic technology for diagnostic imaging, including the operation of Hologic 3D and Affirm BX equipment.
• Perform needle localizations and fine needle aspirations.
• Assist in maintaining patient records and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of relevant experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Current ARRT certifications: ARRT M*, ARRT R, and BLS.
• Must hold a valid California state license.
• Prior experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
