Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with varying levels of acuity. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a collaborative environment while following hospital policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and clinical status.
• Provide effective and timely care in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (Meditech).
• Maintain high standards of nursing practice and patient care quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department.
• Current RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Meditech experience preferred.
