Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

3x12 Hour Day Shift (05:00 - 17:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing high-risk antepartum situations and proficient in various labor and delivery procedures. As a part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage obstetrical patients and manage labor & delivery care.
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and assist with high-risk deliveries.
• Circulate for C-sections and assist in recovery.
• Utilize and calibrate Intrauterine Pressure Catheters (IUPC).
• Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) and manage anticoagulation therapy.
• Administer medications including antihypertensives, insulin drips, and magnesium sulfate.
• Provide patient education and support for mothers and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM.
• Traveler must reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
• Active state or compact RN license required at time of submittal.
