Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) - 12-Hour Day Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with possible variations including 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent operating room experience and must possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state nursing license.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the surgical team during procedures as a circulator and scrub nurse.
• Preparing the operating room and ensuring a sterile environment.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and providing necessary care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborating with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of recent OR experience.
• Active Ohio nursing license or compact license in hand.
• Current certifications must be active and available upon submission.
• Reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for is required.
