Radiology Technologist - Modified Barium Swallow Studies

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist with acute care experience to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) independently and proficiently. The ideal candidate must have a valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment and be able to provide high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies without supervision from a radiologist.
• Ensure accuracy in patient documentation using Meditech computerized systems for inpatient records and paper documentation for outpatient care.
• Assist in acute care and rehab settings, including Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experiences.
• Be prepared to float to other units or facilities as necessary based on patient census and staffing needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a rehab hospital or SNF level setting.
• Current and valid Hawaii license in the appropriate discipline.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Schedule

This position generally requires a set schedule of 5 days per week, which may include 1 weekend day.
