MRI Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Mid 5x8-Hour Shift: Monday to Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. On-call requirements apply during the week and possibly on weekends.

Job Description

The MRI Technician will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technician will work as part of a team, adhering to established protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the scanning process.
• Maintain equipment and assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience in MRI technology.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
