Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Lab Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position involves working closely with cardiac patients in a fast-paced environment and requires specific expertise in electrophysiology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conducting and assisting in electrophysiology procedures.
• Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs during procedures.
• Administering procedural sedation and managing its effects.
• Performing interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Obtaining 12-lead ECGs and utilizing activated clotting time (ACT) assessment.
• Circulating procedures and providing direct patient care.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license required.
• National certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with electrophysiology lab procedures and monitoring.
• Ability to provide a radiation badge as required.

Schedule

This is a 4x10 hour day shift position, working from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Flexibility required, as the schedule may vary based on procedure completion.
