Outpatient Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with the patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. Responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services, the therapist ensures the design of functional treatment programs allowing for the effective return to community activities. This role serves as an educator to patients, families, students, coworkers, and self, while embodying the organization's mission and core values.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Document patient care clearly, concisely, accurately, and timely in compliance with applicable guidelines.
• Participate in student programs, fostering a positive learning environment with supervision and feedback.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and self-study.
• Adhere to discipline-specific practice acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

This role offers a 5x8.0 schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.
