MRI Technologist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. This position is designed for professionals who possess a strong background in both MRI and X-ray technology. The role involves working in a free-standing emergency department with a diverse patient demographic, including adults and pediatrics, and helping to deliver high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI and X-ray procedures on a variety of patient populations.
• Provide high-quality imaging services and ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
• Administer contrast media as needed and monitor patients for potential reactions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and imaging services.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging equipment.

Schedule

This is a mid-shift position with a schedule of 4x10-hour shifts from 15:00 to 01:30, Monday through Thursday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI and radiology.
• Certification in ARRT R and ARRT MRI is required.
• BLS certification is mandatory.
• WA state licensure in MRI and Radiology is required.
• Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, ER/Trauma, pediatrics acute care and pediatrics outpatient is essential.
• Previous charge experience is not necessary, and first-time travelers are welcome.
