Job Description

Join a 225-bed specialty care hospital recognized for its comprehensive services, including Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine care, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine, Women's Health, and Pediatrics. This facility is equipped with premier imaging, surgery, and laboratory services in the central region of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a medical/surgical unit.
• Manage and administer medications, monitor vitals, and carry out treatment plans.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment to respond to patient needs.
• Work effectively under stress and in fast-paced environments while collaborating with the healthcare team.
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and occasional floating to similar units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical unit.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
