Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care to laboring patients, manage the immediate post-delivery care of newborns, and assist in circulating and recovering cesarean section patients. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor laboring patients
• Provide care and support during vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Administer and manage epidural anesthesia
• Perform related procedures including D&C, cerclage, and tub labor
• Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner using CPN and Meditach

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current RN licensure in the applicable state
• Mandatory certifications: AWHONN Intermediate (not advanced), CEFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP
