Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a telemetry position. Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the RN will perform patient care functions as approved by the State of Maine Board of Nursing and adhere to hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse will provide direct supervision for the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patient condition and progress, documenting changes and collaborating with the healthcare team
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing best practices
• Participate in training and orientation sessions

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Maine RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within 30 days of hire
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Telemetry experience preferred
• MOAB or CPI certifications preferred, but not required

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working from 7 PM to 7 AM.
