Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures. This role demands critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in delivering safe patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to emergency room patients.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
• Delegate patient care priorities appropriately.
• Supervise and direct assigned personnel in patient care delivery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 1-2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Must hold a valid nursing license to practice in Alabama.
• Travelers must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
