Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care Unit

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Care Unit. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients requiring a medical level of cardiac care and recovery from various cardiac interventions such as cardiac surgery, coronary artery stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions
• Monitor patient vitals and interpret telemetry readings
• Administer medications and manage various treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams
• Conduct patient assessments and document care provided

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with travel experience
• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required
• Experience with charting systems, specifically Epic
• Familiarity with patient ratios of 1:5-6
