Operating Room Registered Nurse - Trauma, Neuro, Vascular, and Ortho Experience Required

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift from 18:45 to 07:15, working a 4x12 hour schedule. Weekend coverage is required, and the traveler may need to cover one night shift as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho experience. As an essential member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures and provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition during surgical procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and comply with safety protocols and regulations.
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record system (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho procedures.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Valid California RN license in hand.
• Prior charge experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is required.
