Registered Nurse - Neuro Unit (Night Shift)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift, 4x12 hours (18:45 - 07:15), with a ratio of 1:6.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Unit team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong teamwork approach to patient care, focusing on patient safety and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care for adults and geriatrics with neuro-focused diagnoses.
• Utilize a teamwork approach to promote a safe and effective patient care environment.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy.
• Participate in the charge nurse role as needed and be willing to float to other units.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
• NIHSS certification and neuro experience are preferred.
• Current RN license (NC or Compact license pending is acceptable for submission).
