Labor and Delivery RN - Rotating Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts with a schedule of 3 x 12 hour shifts per week.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery RN will be responsible for providing high-risk obstetric care and support for patients during labor and delivery. This includes managing antepartum patients and circulating in C-section procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in labor.
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Manage labor and delivery processes effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license.
• High-risk Labor and Delivery experience is required.
• Experience in antepartum and circulating C-sections.
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications may be required.
• Flu and COVID vaccinations required, with medical/religious declinations accepted.
